Guide to Geneva Airport
Geneva is the second largest city in Switzerland, the GenevaAirport is located 4 kilometres northwest of the main city centre area. The airport is well served by multiple international airlines and provides keen ski and snowboarders with a perfect landing point to reach many of the Alps most popular resorts.
Often still referred to as Cointrin or GVA, Geneva airport serves both European countries as well as long haul destinations like China and America. The airport has undergone some refurbishment in recent years with further shops, duty free designer labels and a larger food hall with more choice and value now available.
There are two terminals in Geneva Airport, our transfers pick up from Terminal 1, which is the main terminal into the airport on the Swiss side. Terminal 2 is only in operation during the Winter seasons for Charter flights from TUI or Thompson. Our transfers do not collect from Terminal 2 but its is a short walk to our check in desk from the other terminal (around 10 minutes) and is relatively well sign-posted.
Finding Us at Geneva Airport
We have airport representatives all winter long at our check in desk in Geneva Airport. The desk is simple and easy to reach. After collecting your luggage from baggage claim, turn RIGHT and walk about 20 meters toward the Montreux Jazz Café. From here you’ll spot our transfer desk, which also has a sign hanging above it with the ChamExpress, AostaExpress, MegeveExpress and MorzExpress brands labelled.
Our drivers will collect you from the desk, so we advise you go straight to the desk on arrival and check in with the team. (If you are early it could mean you taking an earlier transfer so it is always worth checking in first.)
We ensure the desk is manned all season long, generally from the first arrival to the last departure from the airport (circa 08:00 till 00:00.)
